Sant Nirankari Mission (Universal Brotherhood) - Melbourne again promoted the teachings of the mission 'Peace - Not Pieces' and celebrated Harmony Day on 25 March 2012 at its place of worship in Rowville, Victoria. It's a day where all Australians celebrate our cultural diversity. The day is also the United Nation's International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Harmony Day is managed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) and gives people the opportunity to celebrate what makes each Australian unique and share what we have in common Knox Council officials including Hon Mayor Adam Gill, Councillor Joe Cassari, Councillor Darren Pearce alongwith Mr Vasan Srinivasan (President - FIAV) graced the occassion at SNM Melbourne's Rowville Bhawan. After the celebrations, a community meal session was held where all guests appreciated the volunteers for their community welfare efforts.
