Prarthna Diwas: 71st Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam

71st Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam
Samalkha, Haryana

Prarthna Diwas, November 22, 2018

As a matter of convention a special congregation is organized two days ahead of the Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam, which is described as Prarthna Diwas Programme. Accordingly, a similar congregation was held at the venue of the 71st Annual Sant Samagam in Samalkha on Thursday, November 22, 2018 under the benign guidance of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj.

Besides devotees from Delhi, Greater Delhi and the nearby parts of Haryana, the congregation was attended by a large number of devotees who had already arrived for Samagam including several delegates from abroad. The congregation was held from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Several speakers, mostly from outside spoke on the occasion. Addressing the gathering Her Holiness said:

“Saints, as you all know and you heard from several speakers, the Samagam is being held here for the first time. Till now the Samagams were held in Delhi. No doubt Baba Ji and Mata Ji organized some smaller Samagams in this ground, but the Annual Sant Samagam held in November is being organized here for the first time.

As you must have seen in the ground while coming for this congregation from your residential tents or buses, the entire scenario is like what we always had in Delhi Samagams. In that sense there seems to be no difference at all. We have the same comfort level and the same familiarity. And all this is so because Sadh Sangat did Sewa here with the same spirit as they had in Delhi. As a reward of the Sewa, they always desire to have more Sewa to do, and they got it here, it seems.

With a view to creating awareness, we organized certain Pre-events. The Nirankari Youth Forum was revived and Nirankari Youth Symposium (NYS) organized in Delhi. In the coming months, we are planning to hold this event in Mumbai, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Bangalore and in other countries like Australia and UK also.

It’s our effort to associate men and women from all age groups – young and the old since there is no age consideration in devotion. As the part of the same effort you saw the Light House dedicated to Mata Ji because she wanted every devotee to become a moving Light House or Roshan Minar, where quality is based on God-knowledge and reflected from their conduct. May be he is not able to guide others, but his action will speak for him. Accordingly, we made a small effort to form the image of Light House as a Tribute to Mata Ji.

As you saw in the news some days ago, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) carried out tree plantation on a massive scale. Earlier, they also helped the flood affected people in Kerala in their rehabilitation. All this, however, was accomplished due to your Sewa as Sewadal members, SNCF volunteers or members of Sadh Sangat. In English, there is a term ‘Unsang Heroes’. It means that even though we do not know the persons by their face or name, but their work, their contribution speaks for them. In Hindi we can also, pronounce the term as ‘Aung-Sang’ which means ‘close to us’. So, all of you sitting close to each other are Unsung Heroes who made a great contribution to make these grounds so neat and clean and you have arrived here for the Samagam.

As is happening in the world elsewhere, you saw the news about Amritsar where some saints lost their lives and many sustained injuries. When I talked over telephone to their families as also to those in hospitals, all showed their enthusiasm and said, “Mata Ji, bless us with recovery soon so that we come running for Samagam. We have bought our tickets also.”

As I saw their enthusiasm, I wished the same for myself and others for the Samagam or Satsang. If everyone has the same spirit, God will certainly make our life blissful and fill the atmosphere of the world with this fragrance of humanity and unity based on divine light of God-knowledge. As taught by the Mission, this is the Supreme light that kindles every other light in the world.

May Nirankar bless us so that the Samagam is quite blissful. Let us all be conscious of basic human values, give priority to each other and maintain the discipline as you all have done today.” ***
