Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of
Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj

Samagam Ground No. 8, Nirankari Chowk, Delhi: September 16, 2018

The Sunday congregation in Delhi on September 16, 2018 was organized at Ground No.8. It was attended by thousands of devotees from Delhi and its adjoining areas. Addressing the gathering, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj said:

“Saints, in the morning today as I was getting ready for Satsang, I came to know that Chadha Sahab, Chairman CPAB (Central Planning and Advisory Board) is seriously sick and hospitalized. So, I went to see him. May God bless him with Sewa. And that is the reason why I could not reach here on time for which I apologize from you all.

Saints, I am very happy to see you all having come with such an enthusiasm. Since the last two weeks I have been attending morning congregations at various places, in different corners of Delhi where I got the opportunity to see you all. Consequently, I find many youth as well as the elderly ones and saints from all sections attending this congregation. I am immensely pleased to see this.

Saints, regarding Satsang I recalled today that once Baba Ji told me that in his early age once he kept sleeping at the time of congregation. At this Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji asked him that at the time of congregation he should get up early. Baba Ji said that right from that time he made it a habbit, a daily routine to follow what Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji had said. Even when he slept late in the night late and got only one hour to sleep, he reached the congregation always on time.

I would, therefore, request you that Satguru has taught us all this through his practical experience. But did we also mould our life accordingly? Many times Baba Ji might have been sitting in congregation for hours and we would still be at home and then travel for half-an-hour or one hour to reach the congregation. So, I would like to request you that it’s very important to be punctual for Satsang and maintain its dignity. Even after coming here we should not allow our mind to get distracted and start wandering. While sitting in Satsang we should listen attentively. Let us do a little introspection and think whether we are following the manners properly or not.

Today when I came to this congregation and devotees started Namaskar from closeby, I thought that those who have come from outside Delhi may be given the chance first while those from Delhi may come in the lines later. But I noticed that many from Delhi also insisted join the queue and come ahead of others. I did not appreciate this. Even after announcement from the stage in the congregation we did not follow the same and insisted on breaking the queue and pushing others behind as a matter of our right. It is certainly not the proper decorum of the congregation, it does not look nice. Sewadal also tried to ask them to follow the guidelines. Some of the Sewadal members, however, were also seen following them.

May God bless us all so that when we attend Satsang, we follow the decorum and maintain the dignity of Satsang. We should attend Satsang and do Sumiran in proper manner. Let us pray to God so that we follow what is dignified. It is also noticed that during Sumiran at the conclusion of the Satsang many devotees start moving towards backside. One can understand this in case they have some important work to do, but here it’s quite different. We take it that once the Vichar is over, the Satsang programme is also over. But this is not so. The Sumiran after Vichar too is as important as the Vichar.”
