Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of

Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj

Delhi: September 10, 2017

The Sunday congregation in Delhi on September 10, 2017 was organized at Samagam Ground No.8 in the benign presence of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj. It was attended by thousands of devotees from Delhi and the surrounding areas of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Addressing the congregation, Her Holiness Satguru Mata Ji said:

“Saints, we have heard these words from Avtar Bani since childhood and saints repeated the same today also that we should join the company of those who are steadfast in their faith and devotion and avoid those who are not; let people create all kinds of misunderstanding, but we should not give up our faith. Saints, Shahenshah Ji stated that the company we keep is bound to have its influence. The one whose own faith is shaking and doesn’t attend the congregation himself, he will distance others also from the same instead of bringing them closer. We have to avoid the company of such people.

Saints, Baba Ji also said that those who unite others with God with Sewa, Satsang and Sumiran, they achieve the heights themselves and help the others as well. And those who distance others from Sewa, Satsang and Sumiran and also from God are devils only. Saints, Rajmata Ji said that man’s mind and the cow’s milk take no time to get spoiled or soured.

Saints, there’s a saying that empty vessels make the most noise. Some days ago, children were watching a match over TV. Whenever players tried to score a goal, the fans of the other side started making loud noise to divert their attention. But the players continued to play with the spirit of team work so that they win the match and earn praise for themselves as well as the team. Similarly, the one who remains connected with Sewa and Satsang, does not get influenced by negativity of any kind of any way.

Saints, Baba Ji often referred to ‘courage’ and said even those who rob or kill others in day-light have courage. And on the other hand, we have the courage of the armed forces who always have the courage to fight for the country and save it even at the risk of their own lives.

Saints, you might have read or seen in the news over TV about the hurricane in the St. Martin Island. It has caused lot of destruction and upset the people. Saints, it is a matter of natural calamity. But at the same time, on the same Island, some people have started robbing others and causing damage. This has made people to close their doors and shut themselves in their houses. Since 3-4 days back, the authorities from a hospital located close to our Satsang Bhawan, whose own building has been damaged partly, have started accommodating their patients in the Bhawan for treatment. And the local saints whose own houses, malls and shops have been damaged are looking after the patients including those who have been wounded. Besides this, they have offered to give ration that is saved in their stores, free of cost to those who need it. This is the spirit of service taught by Baba Ji.

Saints, we have heard that line which says that God-knowledge becomes an ornament to decorate our life when we use it to mould our actions. Saints, may God bless us all so that we associate God-knowledge with our actions and bring fame for the Mission.”

Earlier, the main speaker of the day, Shri Raj Kapoor, Advocate Supreme Court and Member Incharge Legal Affairs, Sant Nirankari Mandal, refered to the two words used commonly but having great significance when put into practice – ‘negativity’ and ‘positivity’. He said that we don’t even realize when negativity enters our attitude. We ignore normal and beautiful contribution of a person but start criticizing or pulling him up we he discover a tiny fault. He gave his own example when he ignored the hard work of a workshop boy who had cleaned his car well but left one spot by mistake. He said he realized that his approach was wrong, when the boy himself pointed out to him. Let us, therefore, try to develop an attitude of ‘positivity’ and appreciate the good work of others and ignore minor mistakes, if any.

Rev Kapoor Ji, then refered to the word ‘cooperation’. He said that the spirit of cooperation depends always on love that we have for others. If there is no love between the two, we can neither seek cooperation nor extend it.

Another prominent speaker of the day was Dr. Vinod Ji, Sanyojak Lansi, Jammu and Kashmir who has just returned from a fortnight long Prachar tour of Nasik zone in Maharashtra. He said that he found a deep faith and love in those simple people including Adivasis, all due to grace and inspiration of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, He said the Mission has thousands of devotees living in forest areas. When asked whether they would understand his language, Dr. Vinod said that the answer was that they all understand the language of love. And he saw it more than evident when he met those people. They came for the congregation by 9:30 a.m. even though the scheduled time was 10:00 a.m. And they all sang and enjoyed devotional songs based on love for God and faith in Satguru.

Dr. Vinod quoted an example of a congregation he addressed in a fishermen’s colony. More than, 2,000 devotees were present. At another place, Dr. Vinod said, about 3,000 people assembled to receive Brahmgyan. Many of them were repeating it because they thought that it was coming direct from Satguru. Who else can bestow this sacred gift? A tribal said that they Adivasis because they are connected with Adi i.e., God. Dr. Vinod said that everywhere the devotees had only one question – When will Satguru Mata Ji come to our place? All this was sufficient to reveal why Baba Ji and Satguru Mata Ji have been loving Maharashtra so much!

Similarly, Rev Parduman Mehta Ji, Advocate High Court from Delhi who returned from a month long Prachar tour of U.K. recently, said that there too he found devotees having deep faith in God-Nirankar and Satguru. He was touched by their love, humility and devotion. He said that this was all due to the grace of Satguru for which every devotee has a deep feeling of gratitude.

Rev Pavan Kumar from Ladakh said that with the kind blessings of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj they are constructing the building of a new Satsang Bhawan. All devotees are making the best of their contribution. In such a situation we are likely to feel that it is due to our own effort that this work is being accomplished. This is, however, wrong, we are mistaken. It is Satguru who is doing everything, we are only the humble means. This became all the more evident when we saw that such officers are getting their posting in Ladakh whose talent and experience we need for building the Bhawan. He sought blessings from Her Holiness and Sadh Sangat so that the Bhawan is ready as early as possible.
