Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of

Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj

Delhi: April 16, 2017

After almost a week long salvation tour of Nepal and some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on the way, Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj addressed a huge congregation in Samagam Ground No.8 in Delhi on Sunday, April 16, 2017. Thousands of devotees came from all over Delhi and Greater Delhi and several adjoining areas. Blessing the gathering, Her Holiness said:

“Saints, as you heard just now, I got an opportunity to visit Tikapur in Nepal last week. On the way also while going and coming back I could see devotees and seek their blessings at several places. During the times of Shahenshah Ji and Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, the saints of those days faced lot of difficulties to introduce the Mission in those areas, since no other religion could be preached there. And today we have more than 100 Satsang Bhawans there. And saints told me that our school in Tikapur is the second best school of the place and they are making every effort to improve it further. All this could, however, be achieved only because those saints were completely dedicated and had strong faith in God.

Saints in Adelaide, Australia today are organizing some Tribute to Humanness events. Yesterday they had Sewadal Rally and Oneness Sports and today they are all together in a congregation and discussing Baba Ji’s teachings. Baba Ji gave love to everyone for many years without any discrimination whatsoever. May God bless us so that we are also able to give similar love from the core our hearts. Saints, technology-wise we are getting connected with many, let us unite by hearts also in the same way.

Saints, I read somewhere that live your life in such a way that those who know you but do not know God, come to know God because of you. Saints, you always find fragrance near the one who sells perfume. May God bless us so that people get the fragrance of Baba JI’s teachings from our life.”

Earlier, addressing the congregation Shri Shubh Karan Ji, Up-Mukhya Sanchalak Sewa Dal Delhi said that during the month of April it is but natural for the Sant Nirankari Mission to remember Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji who laid down his life on the 24th of this month in 1980. He said that Satguru always teaches or guides devotees not only by word but through practical life also. Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji taught us to earn our living with hard work and honesty when he started the business of motor parts in Delhi immediately after coming from Pakistan during partition of the country.

As a Gursikh also Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji was his own example. No wonder Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji passed on all the powers of Satguru to him in 1962. And Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji seated Baba Avtar Singh Ji with him on the sacred dais which was a unique example of an ideal relationship between the True Master and a disciple. Not only that, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji seated Rajmata Ji also by his side which became an example how to respect women and give them equal regards with men.

Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji encouraged his disciples to preach the message of the Mission while living a simple life. Those were the days when saints carried only two sets of their dress during Prachar tours. In 1973, during the Second Mussoorie Conference Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji advised every devotee to avoid the use of intoxicants. He also ordained for simple marriages without any display of dowry. Those who adopted his advice became happy and prosperous.

Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji encouraged the youth to attain higher education so that they find good careers leading to a blissful life. No wonder Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj during 36 years as the Spiritual Head of the Mission endeavoured to take the Mission forward only on the lines already laid by Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji. And today, Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj is offering an opportunity to us all to express our gratitude to both Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and Baba Hardev Singh Ji by working shoulder to shoulder to take the Mission to the heights where Baba Ji wanted to see. Let us all obey Satguru Mata Ji and move ahead under her benign guidance. And her first lesson taught to us is that we should live with love and distribute the same to others.

Smt. Kavita Bekal Ji reminded the congregation about the word ‘Godfidence’ explained very recently by Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj and said that God is always with us but we ourselves remain disconnected with Him and, therefore, suffer. She quoted her own example and said she finds Satguru always with her in formless state. Let us learn from the example of Arjuna who fought in Mahabharata while Lord Krishna was in front and driving his chariot, and always be confident that Satguru as well as Nirankar are always with us.

A young saint from Bhiwani in Haryana Shri Vinit Nagpal explained that only fortunate ones get the opportunity to attend Satsang or a congregation. It’s here that one learns to shed negativity and adopt positivity. He explained the importance of Sadh Sangat by quoting the example of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji. It is said, in the beginning Baba Ji was not very fluent to speak in the congregation. One day a saint suggested a solution and said, “Baba Ji, you just consider the audience as ignorant. This will remove all your shyness and you will start speaking fluently.” Baba Ji, however, replied, “I shall go on speaking like this for the whole of my life, but never consider the audience or Sadh Sangat as ignorant or unwise. They are all the crown of my head. I shall never undermine their wisdom.” So, Vinit Ji said that those who seek the company og saints are really fortunate.

Another young saint Sukriti Hans from Taraori, Haryana also dealt with the same subject and said that even if we comes every Sunday, we receive food of positivity and remain away from negativity throughout the week. She said that we should leave aside all our worldly responsibilities and attend Satsang programme positively.

Speaking in English, Sushil Sethi Ji from Rohini, Delhi said that no doubt we received God-knowledge without making any effort. It was pure grace of Satguru that he accepted us without giving any consideration to our faults and weaknesses and bestowed us with God-knowledge. But it does not mean that we should not value this most precious gift of our life. Let us try to live life while giving importance to Sewa, Satsang and Sumiran as ordained by Satguru.
