Salvation Tour by Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj

State of Uttarakhand and Haryana from December 10 to 13, 2016

Dehradun, Uttarakhand: December 10, 2016

Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Mahjaraj visited Dehradun and Mussoorie from December 10 to 13, 2016. It was the first salvation tour of Uttarakhand by Her Holiness as Spiritual Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission.

As Her Holiness and the entourage arrived Dehradun from Delhi on Saturday December 10, she was welcomed by Shri Kalam Singh Rawat Sanyojak and a large number of other devotees at the local Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan.

The congregation in Dehradun was held on Sunday, December 11 at the site of a new Satsang Bhawan. Satguru Mata Ji laid its foundation stone.

At the congregation, Her Holiness was welcomed by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Harish Rawat on behalf the Government and people of the State. He sought her blessings for all. He said that Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj hued the entire Dev Bhoomi of Uttarakhand with the colour of devotion. This was the most pious contribution to the religious and cultural life of the people here which can never be forgotten.

Shri Rawat said that humanity today is divided by numerous walls in the name of religion, caste, language, etc. Man has become so narrow-minded that he seems to have forgotten the very feelings of love. Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, however, endeavoured throughout his life to dismantle these walls and teach man to live with love. He wanted to have a world without walls. This is the need of the time even today and Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj is also making every effort in this direction, Shri Rawat said.

Blessing the huge gathering that was no less than any big Samagam, Satguru Mata Ji said:

“Saints, I have been visiting Dehradun many times since childhood. I would come with my parents and stay at the Bhawan for several days. Then we would proceed to Mussoorie to seek blessings from Shahenshah Ji, Rajmata Ji and Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji. Then I saw you all when I came with Baba Ji almost every year. Sometimes we would halt at Dehradun or some nearby place while on our way to Delhi and sometimes we would come from Mussoorie, meet you all and go back to Mussoorie.

One day at Mussoorie Baba Ji gave an example of a balloon. A child leaves a balloon filled with gas in a room. It gets stuck up at the ceiling, gaining no further heights. But when the child leaves another balloon in the open, it begins to touch the heights of the sky.

Similar is the principle of Gurmat. If we receive Brahm Gyan and adopt it in practical life fully, we touch the heights of Brahm Gyan. In case we continue to look for short-comings in others, maintain our own ego and hate others even after receiving Brahm Gyan, it will be like that balloon in the room. All these factors act as a hurdle and we fail to go forward. God has blessed us with such a precious life. Let us not waste it in finding shortcomings in others or hating them. We have to rise above such feelings of narrow-mindedness.

You just heard from saints about the Award received in appreciation of the teachings of Baba Ji and the Mission. They also repeated the line used by Baba Ji - Life lived for others gets a meaning.

Let us pray to the Almighty Nirankar to bless us with such a life that Baba Ji wanted us to live. Let us establish a World Without Walls and Peaceful Co-existence as cherished by Baba Ji.

Baba Ji distributed love to all. Let us also distribute love in the same manner so that we are able to take the Mission to those heights where Baba Ji wanted it to see.”

Besides the Uttarakhand Minister of Sports Shri Dinesh Agrawal, Shri Vikram Singh Negi MLA, the congregation was attended by a large number of local dignitaries. The speakers included Shri H.C. Sirohi, IAS (Retd.) and Shri Raj Kapur, Zoanl Incharge, Jaspur. Many devotees came from Mussoorie, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Saharanpur, besides the vast gathering from Dehradun, of course.

Shri Harbhajan Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge Mussoorrie thanked Satguru Mata Ji, distinguished guest and the devotees who came from far and near to participate.
