Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of

Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj

Delhi: October 02, 2016

On Sunday, October 2, 2016, the weekly congregation was again held in the Samagam Ground No.8, Burari Road, Delhi. Thousands of devotees from Delhi and adjoining areas attended the congregation. Rev Mangal Sain Ji, Secretary Sant Nirankari Mandal graced the holy seat of Satguru and blessed the devotees who came for Namaskar. Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj joined the congregation later.

During the congregation, Nirankari Studio showed a video clipping containing an interview by holy sister Bindiya Chhabra Ji carried by NDTV live from Mumbai, in which she explained the country-wide cleanliness drive being carried out the same day covering 50 Railway Stations, 84 Ghats of the Ganges in Varanasi, the Taj Mahal in Agra and several other places including Chandigarh, with more than 60,000 volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation and Sewadal members participating in the same.

Addressing the gathering Her Holiness said:

“Saints, Baba Ji used to quote an example that if we take out a single straw from a broom and want to clean the floor, it will just not be possible. But we can easily remove the dirt with the bunch, the broom. Today, you saw a video of an interview by Bindiya Ji over NDTV about the participation of 60,000 devotees of the Mission in the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ today, which was highly praised by one and all. This could be possible only because the members of Sewadal and the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation volunteers followed the teachings of Baba Ji and worked in unity, with the spirit of dedication and coordination as was expected of them.

Saints, I came across a line these days which said – Listen the voice of the Soul and remove the waste or dirt. No doubt we can remove the dirt from outside with a broom, but the cleanliness of the soul can be ensured only if we keep it connected with God. Without getting connected with God, the soul cannot remain clean.

Saints, once we were going with Baba Ji on a tour of Himachal Pradesh. We had hills on one side and a river on the other. The surroundings presented a beautiful sight. Baba Ji said – The earth is a canvas and God is the artist. He created such a beautiful earth for us, marked with hills, rivers, deserts and oceans. There is so much diversity but still it is so beautiful! And this is beautiful because a river does not tell the ocean that it is more beautiful than the latter, a hill does not claim to be more beautiful than a mountain. So, saints, God has been so much generous to us. It is our duty to keep it (earth) clean and maintain it the way God wanted from us, so that while we leave the world, we should be able to say that we are leaving the universe as loveable as God gave us at the time when we came. And this will be possible only when we give up selfishness and live with the spirit of peaceful co-existence.”

Earlier, Shri Narinder Singh Ji, Member Incharge Transport and Langar, Sant Nirankari Mandal said that Satguru has blessed us with the Alchemy (Paras) of God-knowledge and the time has come to use it. The coming Samagam offers a big opportunity. Let us contribute liberally. This will certainly work as alchemy and multiply our assets. Selfless service is a seed that must foster and flourish one day. Let us also remember that we do not find such occasions very commonly.

Similar inspiration was given to devotees by Shri H.S. Kohli Ji, Up-Mukhya Sanchalak of the Sant Nirankari Sewadal. He said that the Samagam is a big opportunity for Sewa and devotees are always anxious to participate and earn the blessings of the Lord Master. This time, the opportunity has come with the divine blessings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Herdev Ji Maharaj. Some Sewadal members have already arrived from various places and started working at preliminary preparations. More will arrive as the need arises. They are all guided by what Baba Hardev Singh Ji used to say. Baba Ji always said that action speaks louder than the words. Let us pray to Satguru Mata Ji that we all are able to serve the Mission physically, mentally and materially and earn her benign blessings.
