Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of

Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj

Samagam Ground No. 8, Delhi: August 07, 2016

On Sunday August 7, 2016, the Samagam Ground No.8 was again the venue of the weekly congregation in Delhi, where thousands of devotees came from all over Delhi. Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj graced the congregation towards the end for more than half-an-hour. Before that Rev Radhey Shyam Ji represented Her Holiness on the sacred dais and blessed the devotees coming for Namaskar. Addressing the gathering, Her Holiness said:

“Saints, these are the days of CCTV. You go to a mall or some shops here and there, you will find the warning written there – ‘You are under CCTV surveillance’. Whosoever reads it, becomes alert so that they should not do anything wrong. May be the words are merely written and out of a dozen cameras installed there only one or not even one is working. The needed alertness, however, comes from mere reading the written warning.

Baba Ji has given God-knowledge and linked us with Nirankar who is watching everything. Even then, do we remain so alert that we should not do anything wrong? As stated in Avtar Bani also:

Janan haar prabhu hai jehra, jane saare gaiban nu,

Iston kive luka sakda eyn, bande apne aiba nu?

(God knows everything, He knows even what is hidden or secret.

So, how can you hide your faults from Him?)

Even then, we become a little careless and commit some mistake knowingly or unknowingly.

Once Baba Ji said, ‘Let us accept that we do something wrong in front of God even though He is omniscient and knows every secret. But every human being also knows his or her own secrets. We know what is wrong and what is right that we do.’ Hence, we should fear God so much so that we never commit a mistake.

Saints, to be selfish has never been considered right. But in the matter of spirituality we can be so selfish that we should look at only our own faults. If at all, we should look at our own ego, our own shortcomings. Let us see within ourselves only and try to improve our own day-to-day life gradually. And in case we assess ourselves in the matter of avoiding mistakes and assign B grade to ourselves, we should try to take it to Grade A and then to A+ and not deteriorate ourselves to Grade C or D”.

Earlier, addressing the congregation, Shri Bhajan Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge Durg said that even though Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji taught us not to get attached with Satguru’s body, yet we find ourselves too weak to do so. How can we forget the smile of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj? Let us pray to the Almighty Nirankar for the recovery of health by Satguru Mata Ji so that we do not only see Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and Baba Hardev Singh Ji in her, but also receive the same smile that we received from Baba Hardev Singh Ji.

No doubt Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj does not make long speeches, but each and every maxim ordained by her is equal to any holy scripture in essence. She has called upon us to love not only those who love us but those also who do not love us. She wants every Nirankari devotee to be an example for others. So, let us pray to Her Holiness to bless us with ability to obey her and achieve what we missed earlier.

Another prominent speaker of the day, Shri Bhagwant Singh Ji, Sanyojak Ramesh Nagar, Delhi said the every holy scripture declares that Satguru is the physical incarnation of the Formless One – God. Hence Satguru has all the powers of the Almighty. Satguru’s holy feet are no less than any holy place of pilgrimage. We receive from the holy feet of Satguru all that we seek at shrines or the places of pilgrimage. All the solutions to our problems, all the answers to our questions lie in the holy feet of the Satguru. Satguru acts like Paras (Alchemy) that turns every base metal into gold, makes it valuable.

Referring to Sumiran, Shri Bhagwant Singh Ji said, it purifies our mind and relieves us from all the vices and shortcomings of the world.

Smt. Gurmeet Kaur Ji from Australia said that when Satguru speaks, we realize that Nirankar Himself speaks. No doubt Satguru’s message is for one and all, but only those become worthy of reverence who listen to it and adopt it, follow it. Today we are fortunate that we see Satguru not only in physical form and formless, but in the form of a mother also. And it is well-known that even when hungry, she says she has taken her meals because the children have taken theirs. She feels happy to see her children happy.

Speaking towards the conclusion of the congregation, Rev K.R. Chadha, Vice-Chairman, Central Planning and Advisory Board, announced the dates for the 69th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam to be held in Delhi and said that with the blessings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Ji Maharaj, it will be held on November 19, 20 and 21, 2016 and there will be no programme on the fourth day.

Rev Chadha Ji said that this series of Annual Sant Samagams that started from a condolence meeting in the memory of Sajjan Singh Ji in 1948 as declared by Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji has continued without any interruption. It was organized at India Gate grounds even when the Mission was passing through very difficult time in 1978. He said that with increasing participation of devotees from India and abroad, the venue of the Samagam also changed from time to time. Starting from Paharganj, it was held in Sant Nirankari Colony followed by Ramlila Maidan and the vast grounds behind Red Fort. Since 1990, the Samagam has been held at its present venue in front of Nirankari Sarovar.

Rev Chadha Ji appealed to the devotees to come forward with their Sewa and also prayed to Her Holiness to bless them during the preparations in the ground just like Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj did in the past.
