Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of

Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj

Samagam Ground No. 8, Delhi: June 05, 2016

The Sunday congregation at Ground No.8, Burari Road, Delhi on June 5, 2016 was again attended by a huge number of devotees from all over Delhi and adjoining areas. Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj attended the congregation towards conclusion. Prior to that Rev P.S. Ahluwalia Ji, Member Central Planning and Advisory Board blessed the devotees from the Satguru’s sacred dais.

Addressing the gathering, Satguru Mata Ji said:

“Avtar Bani says that relying solely on the Almighty God, saint lives in this world, leading life completely different from others - detached and uninfluenced by usual tendencies of the world. Like a lotus, he stays in water but remains above the surface of water, untouched and uninfluenced by water. So, in every situation of life we have to rely only on God. We should never give up our mutual love. We should never give up patience and always accept the will of God. We have to become Gursikhs or devotees as Baba Ji wanted to see us. As ‘Bekal’ Ji said – We should live in masses but not like masses. So, we should establish a living example of the identity of a saint or Gursikh Baba Ji wanted. The lotus looks so beautiful even though it stays in mud. Rather when many lotus flowers bloom together, nobody can see the mud at all. The entire mud seems to be covered by the beauty of flowers and we find beauty all around. This is the kind of life the Gursikh should have. We have to take this light of God-knowledge to every nook and corner of the world. Let us attract everyone towards this Mission through our actions, our behaviour. Baba Ji used to mention the example of a sparrow. It was drenching its wings with water and trying to extinguish a huge fire with the same. Everybody said that the effort made by that tiny bird was futile. But the bird said that it wanted to be counted among those who extinguished the fire and not those who caused it. So, you all saints have to work for extinguishing the fire.”

Earlier, several speakers, singers and poets expressed their views about the present scenario and the philosophy of the Mission. It appeared that no one in the Mission was able to overcome the feelings of grief and sorrow in their minds over the sudden disappearance of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj from the world in physical form. Everybody was fully overwhelmed with gratitude for the divine benevolence that Baba Ji showered on them and they all sought blessings from Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj so that they are obey her instructions or directives to take the Mission forward.

Prominent among speakers was Holy Sister Rev Mohini Ahuja Ji, Zonal Incharge, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. She said that it will not be easy to forget Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. It will take time since he led us for 36 long years and showered his love and blessings on every follower of the Mission. No wonder even today we hail Baba Ji in congregations although Satugu Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj must be hailed (in Jaighosh). I see nothing wrong in it because we must not lose sight of what Baba Ji and elderly saints have contributed to improve our life.

Rev Mohini Ahuja Ji said that God stands for justice whereas Satguru pardons us. There is no doubt that with all kinds of weaknesses and faults we cannot cross the world of materialism or find salvation if God were to do justice with us. But it is Satguru who comes to our rescue and salvages us by forgiving us for all our weaknesses and faults. We must, therefore, seek reliance of Satguru with complete surrender to Satguru Mata Ji today.

Shri Amrik Singh Ji, Member, Central Planning and Advisory Board, said that after settling in Delhi after Partition, Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji established the Mission’s Headquarters and provided the organizational set-up. Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji carried it forward and strengthened the constitution of the Mission. He always advised the organizers to treat their responsibilities as an opportunity to serve and not positions like in the Government. The credit for the present vast expansion of the Mission in India and abroad, however, goes to Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. No doubt his sudden merger into Nirankar has come as a challenge, but devotees will have to accept it as the will of God, which they have always done.

Shri Amrik Singh Ji said that Baba Ji has manifested himself in Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj. Let us obey her in letter and spirit as taught by Rajmata Ji through her teachings and day-to-day life.
