Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of Satguru Mata Ji

Samagam Ground No. 8, Delhi: May 22, 2016

After His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj relinquished his mortal frame on May 13, 2016, the devotees from Delhi and Greater Delhi had their regular Sunday congregation in Ground No.8, Burari Road Delhi on May 22, 2016. With a large number of devotees from several other parts of the country and abroad, it gave the impression that the special congregation held on May 18 to pay tributes to Baba Ji still continued. If there was any other subject to be touched by any speaker, singer or poet, it was to welcome Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj and seek her blessings. Satguru Mata Ji blessed the congregation briefly and said:

“Baba Ji often said during his discourses – ‘Thee and Thine and not Me and Mine.’ So, let us learn to accept the will of God and move on accordingly. Baba Ji also advised us about Simran. So, we all must do Simran and make it a shield. Simran gives us strength. Similarly, we all have to attend congregations also. Let us make it an essential part of our life. Let us participate in congregations with the spirit of cooperation and love. Let us all live together with love as desired by Baba Ji. We have also to fulfil Baba Ji’s dream to establish the Mission cherished by Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, Shahensha Ji and Rajmata Ji.”

Earlier, addressing the vast congregation, Rev JRD ‘Satyarthi’ Ji, President of the Sant Nirankari Mandal said, “Today, the Nirankari world is faced with a big dilemma. Baba Ji spent every moment of his life to take the Mission forward. He had many projects for the welfare of humanity. But with all human weaknesses, we failed to follow him in letter and spirit. We have, therefore, no explanation to offer but to seek forgiveness. May Satguru Mata Ji ignore our past mistakes and bless every devotee with ability and strength to obey her with full spirit of devotion and dedication. May Her Holiness also give us the same love and care that Baba Ji showered on every devotee.”

Rev H.S. Upashak Ji, General Secretary Sant Nirankari Mission, UK said that he would not describe the sudden demise of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj as ‘Accident’ (Durghatna), since nothing happens in the realm of spirituality beyond what is planned and willed by the Almighty. The perfect true master does not die, he changes the physical frame only. He said that Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj has already called upon devotees to live with love. He prayed to Her Holiness to enable everybody to obey her. Apno Mein Siyasat Fazool Hai, Bina Maksad Ke Baghawat Fazool Hai. It means there is no need for tactfulness or cleverness when we deal with our own and there is no need to criticize anybody without purpose.’

Addressing the congregation Rev Gobind Singh Ji, Member of the Executive Committee of the Sant Nirankari Mission in USA said, “No doubt Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji had established the Mission outside India but the credit of expansion that we see today goes to Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj.” He said that Satguru may change his body, but the divine entity is eternal. It has remained the same since ages. Today also we find the same divine spirit in Satguru Mata Savinder Ji Maharaj as was existing in Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. Let us all go by the directions of Her Holiness and take the Mission forward as tirelessly as Baba Ji did.

Rev Gyan Money Ji from Gurgaon who is a well-known scholar of the Mission said “Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj always acted as a bridge between Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj and devotees. She would always seek our welfare from His Holiness. She taught us how to conduct ourselves before Satguru. Even then we made mistakes often and acted under the influence of our ego. Let us, therefore, seek the blessings of Her Holiness so that we are able to act as per her directions.”

Several other speakers including poets and singers participated in the congregation. They all recalled the teachings of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj and his efforts to end the darkness of ignorance with the light of God-knowledge from this world.
