Salvation Tour by Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj

State of Rajasthan from April 14 to 19, 2016

Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan: April 18, 2016

On April 18, 2016, His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj and his entourage left Bikaner and reached Jhunjhunu, the last station of halt during the current salvation tour of Rajasthan. He visited this place after a long gap of 21 years. Here, a congregation was held the same day in the evening. The venue was the vast compound of the Shiv Adarsh Vidya Mandir. Addressing the gathering, Baba Ji said:

“You were all listening to the beautiful words from saints. Their advantage is, however, taken only by those who listen to them carefully, think over them and adopt them in life. This message has been given to mankind by saints in every age. But how many are there who know the real aim of life, the most important task that has to be accomplished?

India has the privilege to be the birth place of the largest number of saints, Gurus and prophets in the world. But the irony is that maximum number of disputes in the name of religion also take place in this country. Walls are erected and man distanced from man on the basis of religion, caste and language. Religious leaders are not only divided themselves, they divide others too while saints Gurus and prophets preached Truth and advised everyone to know God and get spiritually enlightened.

Today also we see people living with the feelings of hatred and wasting life. The followers of one prophet hate those who believe some other prophet. They mention the names of other countries where racial discriminations are in prevalence. But discriminations prevailing in the name of religion, caste and culture prevailing in our own country are far more than anywhere else. We have maximum hatred here and where there is hatred, violence also follows.

No doubt man claims to have made lot of progress and reached the 21st century. But the spiritual aspect of his life shows his backwardness only. It seems that instead of making this earth flourish, man is turning it into a hell. For making life beautiful, man must adorn it with the light of Truth. He must realize God and unite with Him. This is what Lord Krishna taught Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Man gets equi-vision only he being one with God. Only then there is love, peace and prosperity.

This message of good for all has had its importance in every age. It’s man’s own lack of wisdom if he does not give importance to Truth and remains entangled in worldly matters. He must move towards Truth which is the only means to win the battle of both the worlds, to be happy here and hereafter. Saints have, therefore, always tried to awaken man from the slumber of ignorance and unite with Truth i. e., God. They always called upon man to accomplish this task because no other species have been given the same power to think and understand. Once there was a fire in the forest. Some birds, however, kept sitting on a tree. The tree says to the birds - I am bound to perish because I can’t move, but why don’t you escape while you have the wings to fly? So, why man should not accomplish this most important task and unite with God while he has the intelligence to know and understand?

Human life is a sign of good fortune. Let us, therefore, know God and attain salvation from the cycle of birth and death. Let us not remain engrossed in worldly affairs and reach nowhere despite moving all the time like the camel pulling the oil machine.”

Shri Banwari Lal Vaidya, Zonal Inchange Pavta and Shri Baldev Nagpal, Zonal Incharge Bhiwani were among prominent speakers during the congregation. The local Mukhi Shri Girdhar Lal thanked His Holiness and the Sadh Sangat.

On April 19, His Holiness blessed the devotees and left for Delhi in the afternoon. On the way he blessed the devotees at Khetrinagar where he said:

“You praise this Almighty God after knowing Him. Saints say that we cannot write His glory even if we make pens of all the trees, ink from all the oceans and use the entire earth as paper. And while singing His praise, we should not use mere words, but associate our mind also. Otherwise, it will not be described as devotion. It’s mind that imparts humility to our devotion, even though our sweet-words have their own importance. It is because of sweet voice that a cuckoo is loved by all while the crow with its hoarse voice is liked by none.

Devotees also adopt these qualities of humanity as well as sweet language and make everyone their own.”

Thereafter Baba Ji blessed the devotees at Pacheri and Rewari and reached Delhi late in the night.
